Every week starts with the idea that we will post something about Asher at this location and, as you can see, it never happens. We send videos to the family almost daily but never share via the blog. Asher is now four months old and last Friday I had to take him to the doctor for his four month checkup and shots. I believe the shots hurt me more than they do him but that is not surprising to anyone, especially parents. My favorite time is when they check his weight and length because he is a big boy and has put the "preemie" birth behind him. Five weeks early, who cares, he weighed in at 16 lbs. 10 oz. and was 26 inches long. This is all very interesting and funny to me since his mother is small in height and weight and his father is short. We may be raising a giant without knowing it. His personality is very laid back and nothing really bothers him unless you try to burp him during or after a feeding.
We look forward to spending our first Christmas as a family. We will be all over the area so it may be a very crazy time but the joy of being with family as a family is a great reward. We pray that everyone traveling is safe and that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

The New Wright
Asher is here and this is the spot to check up on his progress and the goofiness that will be his parents. More to come soon...
